Remember David Barton?
You know, the guy I blogged about a couple of weeks ago?
He’s the evangelical minister and shameful historical revisionist who makes a living out of writing and preaching the lie that the USA was founded as an explicitly Christian nation and promotes the idea that the U.S. government should “regulate homosexuality.”
???
For real.
Well, yesterday on his own radio show, Barton decried the idea of Net Neutrality as inherently “wicked,” and equated it with the Fairness Doctrine, which seeks to guarantee that opposing points of political view are afforded an equal amount of time on the public airwaves, for the sake of debate and, well, fairness.
He went on to say this: “Fair is a word no Christian should ever use in their vocabulary. Fair has nothing to do with anything.”
So there you have it, folks.
See what I mean? I love it when religious leaders say what’s really on their minds.
