just the normal noises

The Rolling Stones reunite with original bassist Bill Wyman for the first time since 1992 for a cover of Bob Dylan’s cult classic 45 single from 1971, “Watching The River Flow,” which he originally recorded live in one take backed by Leon Russell and George Harrison, among others. This is a sneak peek at a forthcoming tribute album to their old compatriot and co-founder, pianist Ian Stewart. It sounds eerily close to vintage ’60s Stones, even though the band did not all play together in the studio at the same time. Enjoy.
